Uniform Policy
PK 2, 3, and 4
- Girls
- Green and white gingham dress with matching bloomers
- Boys
- Navy blue uniform shorts or long pants (without belts)
- White or Hunter Green Uniform Shirts embroidered with SEAS emblem.
- Socks
- Navy blue or white, crew socks for boys, crew or knee socks for girls.
- Shoes
- Solid white, solid black, or solid navy with Velcro closures.
- PK students may not wear shoes with laces that must be tied.
Kindergarten through Third Grade
- Girls
- Blue plaid jumper with a white blouse with short sleeves, a pointed collar and no lace (long enough to stay tucked in all day)
- The length of the jumper or shorts may be no higher than three inches above the knee.
- SEAS P.E. shorts should be worn under the jumper.
- OR
- Blue plaid walking shorts with a white blouse with short sleeves, a pointed collar and no lace (long enough to stay tucked in all day)
- OR
- Blue plaid walking shorts with a white or hunter green uniform shirt with SEAS eagle emblem.
- Blue plaid jumper with a white blouse with short sleeves, a pointed collar and no lace (long enough to stay tucked in all day)
- Boys
- Navy blue uniform shorts or long pants (with navy or black belt beginning in first grade)
- White or Hunter Green Uniform Shirts embroidered with SEAS emblem

- Solid navy or black, low-quarter leather tennis shoes or navy buck as specified by the school. Kindergarten also has the option to wear sold white tennis shoes.

Fourth through Seventh Grade
- Girls
- Blue plaid skirt with a white blouse with short sleeves, a pointed collar and no lace (long enough to stay tucked in all day) or white or hunter green uniform shirt with SEAS eagle emblem.
- The length of the skirt may be no higher than three inches above the knee. SEAS P.E. shorts should be worn under the skirt.
- Appropriate white or beige undergarment will be worn beginning in fourth grade (T-shirts or undershirts will be white).

Cold Weather Uniform Policy
Girls
- A navy blue cardigan or forest green uniform sweatshirt with SEAS eagle emblem may be worn over uniforms.
- In PK 2, 3, and 4 navy blue or green sweatshirts may be worn over uniform shirts on cold days.
- In seventh grade, students may wear their gray SEAS class sweatshirts in place of the forest green uniform sweatshirt.
- All students may wear a solid white long sleeved crew neck or turtle neck shirt under their uniform shirts.
- Only solid white long-sleeved shirts are allowed.
Boys
- Forest green sweatshirt with SEAS eagle emblem may be worn over uniform shirts.
- In PK 2, 3, and 4 navy blue or green sweatshirts may be worn over uniform shirts on cold days.
- In seventh grade, students may wear their gray SEAS class sweatshirts in place of the forest green uniform sweatshirt.
- All students may wear a solid white long sleeved crew neck or turtle neck shirt under their uniform shirts.
- Only solid white long-sleeved shirts are allowed.
Socks
- In cold weather, girls may wear solid white, navy, or black tights or leggings which cover the ankle. Both tights and leggings should be worn with school socks. Ankle and/or “sport socks” are not allowed.
Coats/Jackets
- Boys and girls may wear any coats that are neat in appearance and free of inappropriate decorations or slogans. Coats or jackets should be worn over, not in place of uniform sweaters or sweatshirts. They must be removed when the child is in the classroom. Only SEAS sweatshirts or navy sweaters may be worn in the classroom.
Sweatpants
- Sweatpants are not allowed for students.

PreK-1 Uniform Policy
PreK-1 students can wear play clothes and closed toe shoes to school. We encourage parents to dress your child in whatever allows them to move around safely and comfortably as they learn to crawl and walk.
No sandals, flip flops, or Crocs are allowed to be worn.
Please provide two complete sets of clothes (pants/shorts, shirt, socks, etc.) for the classroom.
